n 2013, S4S was asked to work with the HRH the Duke of York on programs that could support and encourage entrepreneurship in the UK. S4S worked with the Duke across a number of months to develop ideas and programs that could leverage his unique status and circu,stances.

Together S4S and his Royal Highness developed a unique concept, Pitch at the Palace, which offered pitching events for young innovation startups to present their opportunities to a unique gathering of potential investors. The first event was held at Buckingham Palace which provided a special backdrop to the event. Subsequent events have been held at St. James Palace.

From that auspicious beginning, the Duke has grown the event across the years and around the world. It is testimony to his strong support of entrepreneurs and his passion to drive the UK's economy forward that Pitch at the Palace has been such a success. S4S was proud to have been there at the beginning and played a role in its creation.
